A Thanksgiving tradition now in its 37th year. Join us at beautiful Lake Eola bright and early Thanksgiving morning and burn some calories before you feast! Participate as over 4,500 runners, joggers and walkers, many dressed in full costumes or Thanksgiving themed hats, hit the course for a morning of fun in this “Race to End Senior Hunger” and raise money for Meals on Wheels and other programs that support seniors in our community. Share your pics! #TurkeyTrotOrlando

Thank you for supporting us in this race to end senior hunger!  Proceeds from the Seniors First Turkey Trot 5k benefit Seniors First, Inc. a 501(c) 3 non-profit agency dedicated to helping low income, older adults who are struggling to remain independent at home. It focuses on enhancing the quality of life for Central Florida seniors through nutrition and support services. Programs include Meals on Wheels, Neighborhood Lunch, Community Food Pantry, Garden Patch Delivery, In-Home Care, Guardianship and Stepping Stone Medical Equipment Bank. • Best Costume Contest: 7:00 AM judging begins by Track Shack Registration tent (Best Group, Best Couple, Best Individual)
• Best Turkey Call: 7:45 AM judging begins by Start/Finish Line
• Oldest Participant: Trophy will be presented at Award Ceremony following race

Awards

Top 5 male and top 5 female participants will receive awards. No other times will be recorded. The Turkey Trot 5K is designed as a non-competitive, non-scored, fun, festive holiday event; be sure to look at the display clock when you finish.

Free Tot Trot

Kids' runs are free for all children. Distances range from 100 yards to 400 yards and children will be placed in age appropriate groups. Registration available on race week. The Kids’ Runs start and finish at the finish line.  All finishers receive a ribbon.
